Tealight candle wicks are made from 100% cotton threads and pre-coated with paraffin wax. Tealight wicks are non-smoke, non-toxic. The wicks give a slight curl during burning. The self-trimming character assures clean burn, even burn and greatly reduces carbon buildup and mushrooming. Tealight wicks work well with most types of candle waxes such as paraffin wax, soy wax, palm wax, beeswax, etc. They are perfect for candle making and candle DIY.
